My research interest lies in the derivatization of analogues of a well known natural product, Salinomycin. This will be carried out by feeding the compound with different substrate analogs and/or doing the genomic modifications of different producers. Analysis and interpretation will be done via targeted metabolomics.

My second project involves the identification of biomarkers for Major Depressive Disorders via untargeted metabolomics.
